A fellow Brother, Richard from Onatario, told me about your blog. Mike, I just finished reading your four part story, "My journey out of Church..." and just now spotted that you've posted part five. As one who has struggled with porn I was able to relate to where you were and how God brought you to a deeper understanding of Him and yourself. He is so good. Sounds like you may be in your twenties. I'm 53, I've known the Lord since about 1980 but it has just been in the past few short years that He has shown me who He really is and who I am in Him. I think everyone has an identity problem until they really begin to know Him. He is wonderful at bringing us to the ends of ourselves so that we may see Him as our only real Life. It is the main reason that I have, for the most part, the institutional church. I am NOT a worm, nor a pig. I have been thankful that I have watched the transformative work of God in the lives of those who grasp this truth - they are deeply loved and pursued by God.
